Master in International Business and Master in International Finance are one-year programs that aim to train specialists for a career in a global business environment. These programs provide students with the ability to analyze the dynamic and ever-changing environment in which multinational business operates today. Our professors have local and international academic and business experience that is used to assist students in the development of key skills and competencies necessary for operating in an international environment.

Our master programs offer a general specialization that is highly valuable in a dynamic business environment. That is why our required courses are focused on providing an in-depth knowledge of the international context of business and finance and how to plan and implement strategic decisions necessary for sustainable growth and expansion. Besides, we allow for flexibility in a variety of elective business subjects. Such an approach allows students to adapt to work in different business settings. Through these programs, students are heavily exposed to various practical cases that may arise in their professional careers.

Master in International Finance provides students with an understanding of international financial principles through depth knowledge of financial theory and practice. The main goal is to train students in the complex usage of financial instruments. In particular, students will be introduced to research tools and techniques applicable in a professional context. The module welcomes students from all backgrounds. Upon completing the second study cycle, a student acquires a Master of Arts (M.A.) in International Finance. The program structure is available here.

Requirements for admission to Master in International Business and Master in International Finance

In addition to general legal conditions, the rights to enroll in the second cycle of study program have candidates who have completed the first cycle of studies, respectively candidates who have achieved 240 ECTS and candidates who have completed undergraduate studies according to the pre-Bologna system of education.

To qualify for admission, students are required to prove they possess advanced knowledge of the English language by possessing a certain internationally recognized certification, or by successful passing of the proficiency test at the University (Proficiency Exam), in accordance with the general rules of the University. In addition, taking a special test or interview may be required for proving the capabilities to enroll in the master's program.

Ranking of candidates for admission at the second cycle of study is conducted on the basis of the following criteria:

  1. The degree in business or related field (minimum of 240 ECTS);
  2. Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) – a minimum of 2.5/4 or 7/10;
  3. Performance at the interview or test that can be organized;
  4. Business experience (optional);
  5. Other criteria determined in the public call.
