Exploring Project Management: FBA Students Gain Valuable Insights in Sarajevo City Administration

Within the Project Management course taught by Dr. Aida Akagić-Hodžić, the IUS Faculty of Business and Administration (FBA) students recently visited the Administration of the City of Sarajevo to enhance their understanding of project management. The students explored various aspects of project management, both locally and internationally.

During the visit, students were exposed to real-world examples and gained valuable insights from Department for Sustainable Development professionals in this field. They observed how projects are planned, executed, and monitored in a governmental setting, providing them with a firsthand look at the complexities involved in managing large-scale initiatives.

In addition, students engaged in discussions with government experts, learning from their experiences and gaining a deeper appreciation for the importance of effective project management in achieving successful outcomes on both local and global scale.

The visit was a valuable learning opportunity for the students, equipping them with practical insights and knowledge that will benefit them in their future endeavors.

By exploring various aspects of project management and interacting with industry professionals, students are now better prepared to apply their skills in real-world scenarios.
