FBA Hosts Mr. Majid Hejazi for Informative Session on Global Marketing Strategies

The Faculty of Business and Administration (FBA) hosted guest speaker Mr. Majid Hejazi on Friday, April 26, 2024, as part of its International Marketing course. The session, titled “Global Insights, Local Impact: The Basalam Startup Story,” provided an in-depth analysis of Basalam, an innovative startup based in Iran, focusing on its marketing strategies and promotional efforts. The discussion highlighted Basalam's approach to harnessing local insights for global market success, serving as a practical example of real-world marketing applications.

Students were also privileged to hear directly from a Basalam representative, Mr. Hossein Sattari, who joined remotely to share firsthand experiences and outcomes of the company’s marketing initiatives. This interaction enriched the session by offering students a deeper understanding of the challenges and triumphs faced by marketers in today's competitive environment.

The event was organized by Assistant Professors Dr. Šejma Aydin and Dr. Hamza Smajić. The lecture provided students with valuable insights into the international environment of marketing and offered guidance in building careers in this dynamic industry.
