IUS Professor Dr. Edo Omerčević Elected President of the Evaluation Society in BiH

International University of Sarajevo (IUS) is pleased to announce that Dr. Edo Omerčević, Assistant Professor of Economics at the IUS Faculty of Business and Administration (FBA) has been elected President of the Evaluation Society in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BH EVAL). 

The Evaluation Society in Bosnia and Herzegovina is a professional association promoting rigorous practices in monitoring and evaluation, aiming to strengthen evidence-based decision making and policy effectiveness.

At IUS, Dr. Omerčević teaches Economics courses, while his research spans monetary systems, wage dynamics, economic reforms, education policy, and the evaluation of local government performance. As President of BH EVAL, he will work to promote monitoring and evaluation standards and practice, strengthen regional and cross-sector cooperation, and encourage evidence-based policymaking.
