IUS Students and Professors Attend ABSL Western Balkans Conference 2025

Associate Professor Dr. Jasmin Šutković, Director of the IUS Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (IAE), has established contact with the Association of Business Service Leaders (ABSL), which kindly invited IUS students and professors to attend the ABSL Western Balkans Conference held on October 23–24, 2025, at Hotel Hills, Sarajevo.

Students from the Faculty of Business and Administration (FBA), accompanied by Assistant Professor Dr. Azra Bičo, actively participated in the event, gaining valuable insights into the rapidly evolving business services sector across the region.

ABSL Western Balkans is a regional chapter of the Association of Business Service Leaders, dedicated to developing and promoting the business services industry throughout the Western Balkans. Founded in 2024, the organization aims to strengthen regional cooperation, drive market development, and support new investments to position the Western Balkans as a competitive destination for global business services.

The conference gathered industry leaders, government officials, and representatives from educational institutions to discuss opportunities for collaboration and sustainable growth in the business services ecosystem.

Through such initiatives, ABSL fosters knowledge sharing, promotes best practices, and encourages innovation and investment across the region. Participation in this event provided IUS students with the opportunity to network with professionals, explore emerging career pathways, and deepen their understanding of the business services landscape in the Western Balkans.
