Successful Doctoral Dissertation Defense at the IUS Faculty of Business and Administration
On Wednesday, August 20, 2025, Ms. Aida Hamur successfully defended her doctoral dissertation titled “Innovation in Small and Medium Enterprises: A Multi-Perspective Approach with a Green Focus” at the IUS Faculty of Business and Administration (FBA).
The dissertation was supervised by Associate Professor Dr. Emil Knezović, who served as the mentor. The defense was evaluated by a distinguished committee consisting of Associate Professor Dr. Emil Knezović, Professor Dr. Senad Bušatlić, Professor Dr. Ognjen Riđić, Associate Professor Dr. Azra Ahmić, and Associate Professor Dr. Šejma Aydin.
The dissertation explores the role of innovation in small and medium enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It examines how organizational characteristics shape business performance, with innovation types serving as mediators and green entrepreneurial orientation acting as a moderator. The research provides important insights into enhancing competitiveness and promoting sustainable practices in today’s business environment
